Take Time To Just Breathe
A Little About Me
I'm a Christian, and my faith is the foundation of my life. Reading scripture and listening to Christian music brings me peace and clarity, and my beliefs guide me daily—in how I live, how I love, and how I care for others.
Family means everything to me. I’m blessed to be married to my husband, and together we’ve raised three amazing daughters. We’re also proud grandparents to three beautiful grandchildren who bring so much laughter and joy into our lives.
We share our home with our mini Australian Shepherd, who many believe is part human. For over 20 years, our family has also raised show cattle. It’s been a meaningful part of our lives and has taught us a lot about hard work, patience, and the importance of doing things together as a family.
When I’m not working, I enjoy watching all types of sports, catching a good movie, and heading out on road trips whenever I get the chance. Whether I’m exploring a new place or cheering on my favorite team, I try to embrace life with gratitude and a sense of adventure.
Hello, and Welcome! I’m Diana Price
I believe life “shapes” us into who we are – the good, the bad and in between; it’s a cumulative process. We all go through hardships, make mistakes, and carry regrets. That doesn’t make you broken — it makes you human.
My goal is to offer you a safe, compassionate space where you can talk freely without shame. Whether you're feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure of your next step, I’m here to remind you: you matter. You’re allowed to let go of what’s been holding you back, and you do deserve more. Together, we’ll work to build the life you want — one that feels lighter, more hopeful, and aligned with who you really are.
My Story
I can honestly say that from as far back as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to help others. Becoming a nurse has been my calling, and it’s the core of who I am. There’s a unique sense of fulfillment I get when I see relief and happiness in a patient’s eyes—when I know that, in some way, I’ve made a difference in their life. It's these moments that have driven me to continue this work for so many years.
As the middle of three daughters, I grew up quickly. Caring for my younger sister and later my father, both living with diabetes, meant taking on responsibilities beyond my years. These early experiences taught me more than just how to care for people—they showed me how to listen, how to wait patiently, and how to show up for someone in their time of need. Having these experiences is why I have such a deep understanding of what it means to care for others while caring for and at times, losing yourself —something I see in many of my adult patients today.
Determined to create a better life, I became the first in my family to attend college. As a single mother, I worked nights and weekends while becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Raising three incredible children and at times, I juggled three jobs to make ends meet, while I completed my college career.
What I’ve learned through all of this is simple: with God, purpose and persistence, anything is possible. The challenges I faced shaped me—and they continue to drive the way I support others on their path to healing.
My Path to Psychiatry
With over 35 years in healthcare since 1988, I’ve worked in medicine in many roles from pediatrics to geriatrics, hospitals to correctional facilities which has given me a deep, well-rounded understanding of care across the lifespan. But the heart of it has always been the same: listening to people’s stories, guiding each patient with empathy, helping them feel whole again.
Before I specialized in mental health, I spent years in primary care treating physical concerns like migraines, fatigue and gut issues; Often, I knew there was more to the story—that these physical symptoms were connected to emotional stress, trauma, or life circumstances that we never had time to explore in a 15-minute appointment. As an FNP, I noticed something missing in the fast pace of primary care: time to address what patients were really feeling beneath the surface—stress, grief, depression and anxiety. Things that didn’t always show up on lab work but deeply impacted people’s lives.
This is what led me to psychiatry. Mental health is health—it’s not separate from your body, your spirit, or your identity; it’s central to everything. Now, I bring both lenses together in a space where I can slow down, listen deeply, and support people in finding calm and clarity again.
My Approach
As someone trained in both family medicine and psychiatry, I offer a unique kind of care that looks at the whole you—body, mind, and everything in between. Being dual-certified means I can help you connect the dots between your body and mind to get to the root of what you’re going through. Together we’ll create a personalized plan that truly fits your life and helps you feel like yourself again.
That might include medication, supplements, therapy, nutrition, spiritual care, hormone and genetic testing—or a combination of what feels right for you. However, sometimes less is more. Sometimes more support is needed. Either way, we decide together. At a pace that feels safe.
Lastly, one of the greatest joys of my work is education. As someone who's always said “knowledge is power,” I believe that understanding your diagnosis, treatment options, and what to expect puts you back in control of your healing journey. I want you to understand your body, your mind, your options, and your power. Because when you’re informed, you’re empowered—and that changes everything.
You’re not a case. You’re not a diagnosis. You’re a human who’s held it together for a long time—and you deserve support that honors your story and helps you feel whole again.
Caring for Kids Like They’re My Own
As a mom of three and grandmother of three, I know firsthand how deeply parents want their children to feel safe, understood, and cared for. My nursing career began in pediatrics, and over the years I’ve seen how conditions like anxiety and ADHD often show up not only in behavior, but in the body too—through sleep struggles, stomachaches, or headaches.
A Whole-Child Approach
Because I’m trained as both a Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I look at the whole picture—mind and body together. This holistic approach helps kids feel understood on every level, not just labeled with a diagnosis.
Creating a Safe Space
What matters most is connection. Sometimes that’s through gentle conversation, sometimes through play, and always by meeting each child at their own pace. My goal is to create a natural, welcoming environment where your child can open up and feel truly heard.
For parents, that means knowing your child isn’t just walking into another appointment—they’re stepping into a place of safety, compassion, and genuine care.
My Values
Spirituality plays a profound role in the healing process.
Authenticity takes courage, but it’s absolutely worth it.
Connection—with ourselves and others—is essential to healing.
Our imperfections are what make us beautifully human.
The best treatment is a balanced one, integrating both conventional psychiatric care and holistic approaches.
I’m here to guide you on your healing journey with the belief that true wellness is achieved when we nurture all parts of ourselves—mind, body, and spirit. Together, we’ll work toward a holistic approach to mental health that supports your whole being.
